Related Event

In addition to the exhibition of work in the gallery, a number of workshops and gallery talks will be held during the exhibition. Soundscape artist Akio Suzuki, and Satoru Tamura who works with a range of electronic parts to create installations will hold workshops which take the community surrounding 3331 as theme. A guided tour and explanation of the work led by 3331 staff will also be held.

	2012.02.04 (Sat) 18:00-20:00 *Artist Talk starts from 19:00 Akio Suzuki, Minako Nishiyama, and Satoru Tamura will give a talk about their work, creative processes, and what they felt about the local area during their stay and research. The talk is open to everyone.

2012.02.05（sun）13:00-16:00 | "Mimi・Sumu・Sumasu" (Ears・Live・Listen) - "Oto-date" in 3331　Workshop by Akio Suzuki

Dates: 2012.02.05 (Sun) 13:00-16:00 Capacity: About 10 participants Suitable for: Anyone from 10 years old to senior citizens Fee：Free Oto-date is a project encouraging you to pay attention to the audible sounds as you walk around the city and find a "sound landscape" within the city. Starting from 3331, this Oto-date tour with Akio Suzuki will pay a visit to Akihabara and the Kanda area, listening carefully to the sounds around 3331 and trying to find an Oto-date spot.

	Dates：2012.02.11(Sat) 14:30-16:30 Capacity：About 15 participants Suitable for：Elementary school to Junior High School students and families. Fee：Free Using various components and electronic parts from stores in Akihabara, you can decorate a light bulb to create a luminous FACE LAMP. After the workshop, your FACE LAMP will be exhibited in the gallery space.
