Seung Woo Back Workshop “Memento: What is your story?”

Te Yu Wang workshop “Let’s make a balloon sculpture!”

Date: Sat, 26th October 2013 Hours: 10:00 – 12:00 Venue: 3331 Arts Chiyoda, B105 Age: Under 12 years old Fee: 500 yen (including material cost) Reservation deadline: Tue, 22th October 2013 It is a fun workshop that gives children the challenge to create a balloon sculpture with the artist. The balloon is the signature work of the artist, and this year she will be showing her work at TRANS ARTS TOKYO 2013.

Te Yu Wang Artist Talk “The contemporary Taiwanese art movement”

Keeping the country’s history in mind, we will ask the question: what does it mean to be an artist in Taiwan? The artist will talk about the evolving art scene in Taiwan.

Aung Ko Special Event “Burmese cooking night”

Date: Sat, November 2nd 2013 Hours: 18:00 – 21:00 Venue: Station Conference Manseibashi 305 Kitchen Room (JR Kanda Manseibashi Bld. 3F, 1-25 Suda-chou, Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) Access: http://www.tstc.jp/manseibashi/access.html Fee: 3,000 yen (including material cost) Reservation deadline: Wed, 30th October 2013 Give it a go with Burmese cooking which is said to be a fusion of the Thai, Indian, and Chinese cuisines! The artist, who is an amazing cook himself, will teach you authentic Burmese cooking. There will be a dinner party at the end of class.

Aung Ko Talk Event “Intorduction to Myanmar”

It is a great opportunity to learn about life and the artistic scene in Myanmar. Having lived both in Yangon, the city and in a rural village, the artist will share his own experience.
